Description
Soldiers and Students: Mobilization of Campus during World War II at Susquehanna University looks at the changes that happened to the Susquehanna campus during World War II in comparison with other schools in the same time frame. It was conducted as a local study of the Susquehanna campus through the use of the on campus archives. The theories used to explain the changes are educational theory and nationalistic theory. The way that I explored those theories was looking at the curriculum change and the accommodations that the professors made for the cadets that came to campus as a part of the army air corps training program.
