Description
The goal of my research paper is to examine if there is any correlation between a college student’s diet at Susquehanna University and their GPA. I surveyed students at SU to collect data on eating habits and academic habits as well as grades. Then I ran statistical analyses through SAS to find out if there were any statistical significance between my dependent and independent variables. I used an OLS regression and censored regression model in case the dependent variable was not normally distributed. Out of all the dietary variables that I analyzed, I only found that the average number of servings of vegetables consumed per day was statistically significant in increasing a student’s GPA.
