Description
This reading is comprised of works of short stories and short-short fiction selected from my current manuscript, written in the hopes of meriting Departmental Honors in Creative Writing. Throughout this project I have personally aimed to dissolve the limitations that a strict separation of fiction and non-fiction had previously created in my work. With these collected works, I write home to explore the conflicts and conditions that I experienced growing up in Queens, New York. I hope to expose the harsh exteriority and the delicate sentiments of Queens to my readers in a fictionalized exploration of home.
